A/C Energy Savers Cut Utility Bills

With more and more people these days investing in air conditioning devices, it is no surprise that they contribute greatly to many household bills. While the winter months mean high energy bills due to central heating costs, the summer months mean high energy bills due to air conditioning costs. There are a number of measures you can take to reduce your A/C energy bills. A/C energy savers are products that you can use to increase the efficiency of your air conditioning system and therefore reduce the cost it causes you. These products are a great investment and are very easy to use, meaning anyone can use them and notice the benefits in no time. Who wants to spend their summer at home because they’re forking out too much on bills when they can lower their bills and take that precious family summer vacation instead?

A/C Energy Savers Reduce Energy Use up to 30%

One example of A/C energy savers is that of the Aircosaver. The Aircosaver can reduce the energy produced by your air conditioning unit by up to 30%. The Aircosaver can save you money as it increases the efficiency of your A/C by dealing with what is known as thermodynamic saturation. Thermodynamic saturation happens when the air conditioning system keeps pushing out cool air even though the heat exchanger in the system can no longer take it up. This overcooling means that energy is being wasted. The Aircosaver works by stopping the production of more cool air, meaning the cool air stored in the heat exchanger is used instead. Once this cool air is used up, the system will switch back to normal. All air conditioning systems have this efficiency problem; therefore the Aircosaver will save you a good deal of money - money you can use for other things.

Another example of an A/C energy saver device like this is that of the Cool-N-Save™ system. It works differently from the Aircosaver but can still save you 30% on your energy bills. It uses water to aid the A/C system, meaning the cooling process is much faster.

Using A/C Energy Savers Maximizes Cooling Efficiency

Although some A/C systems have programmable thermostats, many don’t. If yours does not, you are wasting a huge deal of energy. Installing a programmable thermostat to your system is one of the easiest and most effective A/C energy savers. You can even use it with the Cool-N-Save™ system or the Aircosaver for maximal A/C efficiency. The thermostat will regulate the temperature and, aside from ensuring that you are not over cooled, it will mean the system is not running when it is not needed (e.g. when you are out), but it will be running when it is needed (e.g. you can set it up to come on a small while before you return home, meaning you’ll come into a cool house without leaving the A/C on or having it running when an adequate temperature is reached).

I Installed an AIRCOSAVER July 25, 2010 and other than Jan & Feb 2010 (COld -Fla) we have averaged almost 27% less than the previous year
